HAGAN AND CREW RETURN TO THE ROCK
Radford, VA--Matt Hagan and crew are on their way to Rockingham Dragway to
compete in the Spring Nationals Nitro Jam and it's a well-traveled road for
the rookie Nitro Funny Car team.
Hagan has tested his SHELOR.COM/TORCO Monte Carlo Nitro Funny Car twice at
Rockingham this spring and will hope to draw on the knowledge gained at
those sessions to get a leg up on the competition.
"It is nice to be competing at a track that we're pretty familiar with,"
said Hagan. "It's one less thing on a long list that me and my crew members
have to worry about."
Matt Hagan is coming off a successful debut performance in San Antonio where
he qualified third and is hoping to continue to pick up momentum in this
weekend's event.
"Mainly I just want to not catch on fire," joked Hagan.
Hagan and crew will take the lanes on Friday for the first round of
qualifying at 6:30 PM. Qualifying will resume on Saturday and eliminations
begin on Sunday.
