Damon Eller Heads to Georgia for Tripleheader Weekend!
(CRUMPLER, NORTH CAROLINA) The Independence Lumber Racing team invaded the historic Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana on Saturday night, March 29 for the 11th Annual running of the 'Indiana Icebreaker.' The one-day show was sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and paid $10,000 to the winner. Unfortunately for the #I4 team, Damon Eller was unable to make his way into the 50-lap feature event after finishing fourth in his competitive heat race and seventh in his B-Main. The #I4 team will trek to the Peachtree State of Georgia this coming weekend for a trio of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series events. The Swainsboro Raceway in Swainsboro, Georgia will kick things off tonight, April 3 with a $7,000 to win show. The Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, Georgia will then host the second night of racing action on Friday, April 4 with a $10,000 to win race. The weekend finale will be held at the Golden Isles Speedway in Brunswick, Georgia on Saturday evening, April 5. The $10,000 to win event at GIS will be taped by the cameras of the SPEED Channel for viewing later in the season.
