JOLIET, Ill. -- This is your one week reminder that tickets to this year's Torco Racing Fuels Route 66 NHRA Nationals at Route 66 Raceway go on sale next Monday, March 17 at 8:30 a.m. Every year, tickets are selling faster and faster, so make it a point to buy them as soon as possible to ensure that you don't miss out on one second of all the ground-pumping, non-stop action. In addition to grandstand admittance, tickets also allow fans to roam through the pit areas and watch as teams work on their dragsters throughout the weekend.

The NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series will visit Route 66 Raceway's record-setting drag strip on June 5 - 8 and will include the categories of Sportsman, Pro Stock Car, Funny Car, Top Fuel Dragster and Pro Stock Motorcycle. Fans will feel the rumble of the grandstands vibrating from the power of Top Fuel Dragsters and Funny Cars when drivers like Tony Schumacher (current Top Fuel points leader), John Force, Greg Anderson and others compete to see who will take home the coveted Wally.
