| Believer in them now and will probably run them from now on if they act like they just did on the street at the track. All i have ran in the bike is VP C16 since ive owned a turbo busa and have been very satisfied with the fuel thus far but today i looked around cause i was interested in what else was out there in terms of the ''Top Dawgs'' of fuels and remembered talk of torco being very good. I knew of Torco fuels before hand but never commited to buying and trying it in the bike. I decided to look around for a local dealer and not only did i find one thats ways closer then the current location that i buy Vp from but it was cheaper(WAY WAY CHEAPER) and its available anytime i want it for the most part. So i get home and eat a bite and then im out the door to fuel up the bike and take the bike for a few test passes.
I start up and was wondering how it would idle being that its a point higher motor octane rating then C16. Well from start up/warm up to the first rev it sounds very clean and responsive so now im wondering how its gonna run under boost as i gear up im getting ancy and eager to rip through the gears and climb higher and higher into the R's while the fuel does its work. Well now im on the road and the fuel feels very good no lean spots and no sputter at all(also thanks to STEDMAN for the tune )and im approaching a long straight where im gonna let the lion out of the cage. I begin to downshift and look behind me for local traffic and i realize its me the bike and he road so her goes everything.
Im holding 2nd at about 5 grand and ease into the throttle, feels clean so far so i dig in it pretty hard and we go airborn floating the front tire through second and when i clipped thrid the tire planted itself back on the pavment and began to explode forward with boost and dam was it pulling harder and harder through the gears. A few very short seconds later im deep in the R's of 5th gear and realize that im very satisfied with the fuel at this point and after a few more passes its back to the house for me followed by a kinda evil smiling grin the majority of the ride home.
The fuel is Torco Mach series 118 NOS

Knoll Gas Motorsports Shannon “ICEMAN” Jenkins drove is 2007 Pontiac GTO TORCO 118 Nitrous equipped car to cross the finish line stripe at 6.090 seconds and a blistering speed of 234.59 MPH. “I just have to thank Evan Knoll and Latrell Preston for sticking with us and supporting the team all season. We have been working real hard to find what the new combinations are looking for to produce the numbers the fans witnessed this weekend. Evan being a racer himself understands firsthand when you find increased amounts of horsepower like Reher-Morrison produces, it changes the entire tuning characteristics of the car” stated Jenkins. “The TORCO 118 Nitrous fuel Evan and his staff have developed has given our Speedtech nitrous tune up a truly consistent platform to race with. It also gives us the confidence to make carburetor and nitrous system jet changes at anytime of the weekend no matter the weather conditions.” Continued Jenkins With the performance gains this weekend Jenkins edged his way back towards the Top 10 spot and chance to run for the IHRA Championship. “I’m looking forward to the Milan race, we have had great success at that venue in the past and I’m really wanting to get our TORCO 118 Nitrous GTO back to the winners circle.
