Millican Turns in 4.647-second Time at Indy

RATT Mobile 14th after First of Five Qualifying Runs

CLERMONT, Ind., Aug. 31, 2007 -- Clay Millican was elated to run 4.647 seconds at 327.74 mph in Friday's first of five qualifying attempts for Monday's 53rd annual Mac Tools U.S. Nationals at O'Reilly Raceway Park.

The time has him 14th going into Saturday's two runs.

"For as many things as we changed this week, I am very proud the car went right down the race track," said Millican, driver of Evan Knoll's RATT -- Back for More Tour Top Fuel dragster. "The engine ran on all eight cylinders and the motor looked clean to me. All we need to do is pick up the pace early in the runs tomorrow."
